"Police who raided New Zealand's most expensive house to arrest the founder of the Internet site Megaupload.com found Kim Dotcom in a panic room with a loaded shotgun, a court was told. US prosecutors, who asked their counterparts to detain Mr Dotcom, have accused the file-sharing site of costing copyright holders more than $500 million in lost revenue. Denying the allegations, Paul Davison, his lawyer, said his client, who is 6ft 6in and more than 20 stone, should be bailed because he was too fat to flee. But Anne Toohey, the crown prosecutor, told the bail hearing at North Shore Court, Auckland, that Mr Dotcom - who changed his name from Schmitz - was a flight risk "at the extreme end of the scale".
